Mbita Island

So after having spent some time in Busia, submitted the proposal for the thesis, we went with a group of Paula's colleagues to an island on the Lake Victoria, Mbita Island. We took a private "Matatu" which is a sort of a minivan. The ride as usual was a bit painful and it took about 4 hours to get to the ferry. Here are some pics :
